The nighttime skyline of downtown Rotterdam.

This weekend is free to do whatever we want to do—nothing is planned in the schedule.

Me and my host took the train from Arnhem to Utrecht to Rotterdam, where we met one of their relatives who we’re staying with for the weekend. We biked to their apartment before spending some time in Vroesenpark and later getting dinner at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant1. We ended the night atop the roof of the apartment, surrounded by downtown Rotterdam’s skyline and plenty of skyglow. Tomorrow for a better glimpse of Rotterdam.

Off to sleep (as usual)!

  1. We were there for three hours. Four courses of up to five items per person (so it’s technically not all-you-can-eat). No clue how I managed to eat that much. ↩︎
